The Redhills Demesne Holiday Homes are situated in the heart of the Cavan countryside. Redhills village is a small and quaint village with a shop and 2 pubs which will supply most of the basic daily necessities for visitors to the holiday homes.

For more ‘serious’ shopping Cavan town (only 15mins. away) has all the facilities of a county town with at least two large supermarkets and a host of smaller shops.

Belturbet is slightly nearer (around 6km) away and here you will find several convenience stores as well as hardware and specialist fishing outlets.

Monaghan is about 25kms away and there are several fashion outlets to satisfy most tastes.

Fishing gear can be purchased in any of the following towns: Cavan, Belturbet, Monaghan.

Opening hours are usually 9am-5.30pm Monday to Saturday, with late night shopping on Thursdays and Fridays and some Sunday openings becoming increasingly popular in the larger towns. In smaller towns however, many shops close for lunch and on one afternoon a week.

Belleek Pottery Situated in the quiet village of Belleek just on the border with Northern Ireland. There are factory tours, shop, museum and restaurant.
Irish Linen Centre The Irish Linen Centre and Lisburn Museum houses a major exhibition of the history of Irish Linen. A specialty linen and craft shop, restaurant, Café Crommelin and a tourist information desk.
